It is also within walking distance or Carver Lake Park and Beach and Battle Creek Regional Park and is conveniently located off of 494 and 94 with easy access to all the shopping and entertainment that Maplewood has to offer. Amethyst serves men roughly 40 to 60 years in age, all with unique personalities and hobbies. They enjoy sports, particularly rooting for the "home teams" and the MN Twins, music, going to the theatre, baking, arts and crafts, motorcycles, going out to eat, and most importantly, spending time with their loved ones.

City: Bloomington, MN, 55420

Berlin is a two-bed ranch style home in Bloomington just off nine mile creek and the scenic Minnesota river. Easy access to 35W and all that the west metro has to offer, including parks, bus lines, dining, shopping, and the Mall of America. Berlin serves middle aged men who have significant supervision and support needs and as such has a heavy staffing pattern of behavior tech staff including two awake overnight staff. The residents enjoy relaxing at home with games, puzzles, sensory activities, Toy Story, and John Denver’s greatest hits. When out and about they love to go for longs walks, swim, window shop, and ride the rides at Valley Fair. With a large staffing team, active families, and busy residents there is never a dull moment at the Berlin home.

Another Howry gem, Carnelian is located in the heart of Bloomington near the junction of 35W and 494. This location has easy access to just about everything. The home serves 4 middle aged men who have diverse hobbies and interests including gardening, caring for exotic plants and pets, trucks, and the performing and visual arts. The main level and upper bedrooms are accessible. These residents are active and independent and enjoy plenty of time away from home so the staffing pattern is on the lighter side.

Cliff is the original Howry house. It is a four bedroom home on a a quiet cul-de-sac in a wooded neighborhood in Eagan. It offers close access to parks, bus lines, retail shopping, dining and fast food. Cliff serves middle aged men who are active, social, and independent. The residents enjoy relaxing at home with movies and video games when they’re not working, fishing, mountain biking, birdwatching, or going to the YMCA to work out. The home has a low activity overnight and a lighter staffing pattern.

Coral is a lovely home located on the north end of Rochester. It’s a 4-bedroom split level home with stairs to access common areas. This location offers awake overnight staffing. There are currently 4 women between the ages of 20 and 50 living in the home and they enjoy shopping, movies and going for walks. The gals who live here tend to work or have day programs during the day.

Diamond is located off of Hwy 13, just South of Blackdog Lake and the Minnesota River. It's a great location, surrounded by parks and nature, with easy access to Eagan and Burnsville shopping and entertainment. Diamond serves middle aged women with an all-female staffing team and an asleep overnight. Its residents have a range of abilities and interests and are friendly, social, and up for just about any activity.

Edgewood is a great home in a great suburb. Snuggled up next to Alimagnate lake and park, this Apple Valley house has a private and wooded back yard and is a stone’s throw away from the Minnesota Zoo, Buck Hill, and everything else that the South East metro has to offer. Its independent residents enjoy modest supports from their staffing team to help them pursue their competitive jobs and hobbies of cars, visiting with friends and families, knitting, and writing joke books. With long term residents, and long term staff, Edgewood is a fun place to work and a better place to live.

This Rosemount home is half suburban rambler and half farmhouse. From the front yard you’ll see wind turbines in fields with roaming cattle. And still, you’re just minutes from everything that Apple Valley and Eagan have to offer. When not at home relaxing and socializing with friends and families, this group is up for just about anything. Active and Independent, this home doesn’t require a heavy staffing pattern. Harmony is a rambler style home located in West Saint Paul. The upper level of the home is fully accessible with a walk/roll-in shower. The program serves 4 women in their 30’s to 40’s. When not at work or day program, the residents like to play cards/games, spend 1:1 time with staff and participate in Special Olympics and Project Explore activities. Low activity overnight with a moderate staffing pattern.

Heritage is a quiet fully accessible townhome in a lovely neighborhood in Apple Valley. The residents require 24 hour awake supports with staff trained in higher medical needs. The residents age range is 30-50’s. They enjoy some social interaction and occasional community activities.

Jade is a delightful rambler-style home located in Rosemount amongst several parks, retail shopping and dining. The female residents keep busy with work, day program, at home Bingo, shopping and Project Explore activities. Asleep overnight with moderate staffing pattern.

Jasper is a two-level home located in South Rochester. The gentlemen that live here are younger and active with school, day programs and community activities. This home is not accessible and has 24-hour awake supports.

Nestled between Hwy 52 and the Mississippi river, Jewell is close to Thompson County Park, Kaposia landing, and nearby Robert Street / West Saint Paul shopping. This home has a healthy staffing pattern and awake overnight staffing as it serves middle-aged men with moderate to significant medical support needs. This rambler has a spacious fenced in back yard, is accessible, and offers a lift van for transportation.

Set into the hillside above the mighty Mississippi and Concord Street, this duplex is set up to serve two residents with different and individualized support and staffing needs. Of a split-level design, the program is not accessible. Shopping and entertainment in West Saint Paul, Robert Street, and Downtown are all nearby and easily accessed. One awake overnight staff is present to assist residents on both levels.

Great looking spacious home with a large, wooded yard. There might even be a "lone oak" in it. This house is right above the Minnesota River and is close to Fort Snelling state park, MSP airport, the Mall of America, and other Bloomington and Eagan shopping and entertainment. This program serves middle aged women with various disabilities and abilities. Lone Oak is a split-level home, has a moderate all-female staffing team, and an awake overnight.

McKinley is a split-level home located in Fridley. There are steps to access all common areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and shared living, dining and kitchen areas. Overnight is awake at this location. There are currently 4 middle-aged men living at McKinley, who all enjoy their independence and on occasion, activities with one another. They also work during the day.

City: Lakeville, MN, 55044

Mica is a nice home in a quiet Lakeville neighborhood. The home has a fully accessible upstairs level. This home has 24 hour awake staff that have elevated training in positive supports. The gentlemen residing there range in ages 40-50’s. They enjoy getting out for coffee and shopping trips.

City: Coon Rapids, MN, 55448

County: Anoka

One of Howry's two Anoka County homes, Onyx is in Coon Rapids just outside Bunker Hills Regional Park. The main floor of the home is accessible, and the lower level isn't. The home has a lovely fenced in back yard with raspberry bushes, grape vines, and a cute barnesque shed that its male residents sometimes use as a clubhouse. Onyx's younger middle-aged residents enjoy video games, cycling, performing and listening to music, barbequing, and working in their community. Onyx is a wonderful addition to the Northwest suburb of Coon Rapids.

Paris is a one-level, accessible, townhome located in a quiet Apple Valley neighborhood with close access to parks, retail shopping, dining, and fast food. This home serves 2 men in their 20’s-30’s who enjoy attending day program, getting out and about in the community and having regular involvement with their families. Low activity overnight with a moderate staffing pattern.

City: Burnsville, MN, 55306

Close to the junction of 35E and 35W off of County Road 42, Park house is just a few blocks North of Crystal Lake. A house on a hill, Park house serves four women, three up and 1 down, and each level has its own staffing pattern to help meet the residents an apostrophe differing support needs. The Park women are active and engaged in their community and enjoy choir, horseback riding, dances, travel, working, and otherwise getting out into the neighboring Apple Valley and Burnsville communities.

Peridot is a West St. Paul Howry favorite serving younger middle-aged women. It's in a great location near the Smith Avenue high bridge, and Cherokee and Harriet Island Regional parks. This also means it's close to downtown, West St. Paul, and Robert Street shopping and entertainment. The Peridot residents love to get out to eat, go to dances, professional wrestling, traveling, and to socialize in any way that they can.
